A hot and humid Hong Kong provided the stunning location for JLL’s International Directors for this bi-annual event, the 4th that we have produced.
Working across multiple time-zones, our team worked tirelessly with JLL’s Hong Kong Asia pac marketing team and US office to help craft a very complex event from the production standpoint. Also in the mix were local HK event management company Laxton events, who headed up all the delegate logistics.
One of the most significant aspects of the brief, was to brand all of the venues as much as possible, with many being standard and very drab hotel environments. We set about creating a series of design concepts based on the internal marketing campaigns, using the square. This featured across everything we did, and provided a very fluid graphic mechanism for the event. All venues featured clever use of this graphic across windows, solid surfaces or on the literature. One of the stand out elements was the main hotel corridor between the conference space and workshop rooms. We designed and built a series of eye-catching walls, incorporating backlit graphics, focusing on the six top real estate cities in illustrative line drawing.
The main conference featured a 20m wide back projection blended screen, for which our graphics team created a series of imposing and eye-catching animations, as well as providing slide design assistance for over 25 presentation segments.
As well as the two day plenary, we designed, built, and managed a series of tech workshop rooms, breakout sessions and a fabulous final evening dinner which took place at The Peak overlooking HK bay.
“Fantastic job Simon. Thanks to you and all your crew for a flawless performance at the IDC.Looking forward to the next one !”
